Faith with integrity
Christian conviction is the floor. We do not perform faith for optics. We practice honesty, repentance when needed, and respect for the beliefs that bind this room.
Standards
A covenant without a standard is just a club. These expectations apply to every member, Captain, and guest.
Code
Christian conviction is the floor. We do not perform faith for optics. We practice honesty, repentance when needed, and respect for the beliefs that bind this room.
God-fearing men take marriage seriously. A husband’s vow, fidelity, and care for his house are not side topics here. They are part of the counsel brothers give and receive.
Help without keeping score. Celebrate without envy. Show up when it costs time, money, or comfort. Do not treat members as a contact list.
Play ready. Respect pace, etiquette, and the host club. Compete hard. Lose clean. Never embarrass the Society with conduct that needs explaining.
What is shared in counsel stays in counsel. Business opportunities may follow trust. Gossip and leaks do not.
Receive hard truth without flinching. Offer it without cruelty. Captains and national leadership may address patterns that damage the room.
When you wear the mark or name the Society, you represent every other member. Public conduct, social posts, and guest behavior reflect on all of us.
Anchor
Proverbs 27:17 is the operating principle of membership: men who make each other sharper on purpose.
“As iron sharpens iron, so a man sharpens the countenance of his friend.”Proverbs 27:17, NKJV
This is not left to chance. Every member is placed in a mentoring pairing through Covenant Mentorship.
Society policy · Guests
This is the Society’s operating guest policy for members, Captains, and applicants. It is how we keep the room intentional. It is not a substitute for venue rules, insurance requirements, or private-club guest procedures, which always govern on the ground.
Guests are a privilege, not a plus-one habit. Invite only men who could become members. Brief them on faith, discretion, and pace before the first tee or the first course of dinner. Guests do not become members by attending.
Captain approval covers ordinary chapter rounds and family weekend gatherings when a member sponsors a guest through the members portal. Captains may decline a guest without debate.
Society board approval is required for esteemed dinners, member-sponsored settings at private clubs, Guest Round formats, and any gathering where the venue or Captain asks for board sign-off. The Annual Founder’s Tournament is members only.
On Guest Rounds, keep guests scarce: prefer at most two guests per gathering, each a serious candidate for culture. Wives and children at family weekends are household welcome, not guest candidates under this policy.
Enforcement
Membership may be declined, suspended, or revoked for conduct that violates this code, endangers others, or damages the Society’s reputation.
Chapter Captains escalate serious issues to the founder. Guests who break the standard are not invited back. Members who break it face a direct conversation first, and removal if the pattern continues.
