Covenant Golf Society™

Northeast · Home chapter · Active

New Jersey.

The Society’s seat in West Orange. An active family chapter for Christian executives across New Jersey and New York: weekends with kids, serious play, and gatherings that feel like a household of means under Christ.

Chapter life

Faith. Brotherhood. The Game.

New Jersey is live. Men who confess Jesus Christ, lead households with care, and want a chapter that moves every weekend (not a brochure) belong here.

Most Saturdays the metro chapter gathers for family-friendly golf activity: Topgolf-style evenings where wives and children are welcomed and briefed, or quieter family course days. Between those weekends sit members’ rounds and dinners at esteemed rooms. The point is rhythm you can build a season around.

This chapter pairs with New York. Apply with New Jersey if West Orange, Essex, or the wider NJ corridor is home. Traveling members keep one primary affiliation.

Weekend rhythm

Activity with kids, most weekends.

NJ and NY are advertised as active because the calendar is meant to be lived: family Topgolf nights, family course days, and short household briefs so wives and children know the brothers their husbands walk with.

Family Topgolf nights

Chapter-reserved time at NJ metro Topgolf venues (Edison and Parsippany area). Not a corporate sponsorship claim: ordinary member reservations for Society households.

Family course days

Play for members who take the game seriously, then an unhurried gather so the household is part of chapter life, not an afterthought.

Brief, then connect

Wives and older children hear how the chapter works: faith first, discretion, and no hard sell. Then the room opens for real conversation.

Company account concept

Leadership is arranging a company-style Topgolf account for smoother weekend hosting. Until that is live, gatherings still run on chapter reservations.

West Orange · Essex path

Essex County Country Club.

For West Orange and Essex County, the premier private club associated with the town is Essex County Country Club (350 Mount Pleasant Avenue, West Orange): founded 1887, among New Jersey’s oldest clubs, a USGA founding club, with a championship course shaped by Tillinghast, Raynor, and Banks.

Society leadership is applying for membership there personally. The Covenant Golf Society does not claim a club partnership or host status. Where the club’s rules allow, chapter members and guests may join Society gatherings as member-sponsored guests by invitation, with Society board approval where applicable.

Until arrangements are settled, Society gatherings continue by private reservation at appropriate public and private rooms. Application in progress. Gatherings by arrangement.

Chapter calendar

Planned gatherings, season ahead.

Forward-looking calendar for the active NJ/NY metro chapter. Planned dates hold the weekend; venues stay TBA until Confirmed for members. Pairings and exact rooms go to members. Transit for Society events may be coordinated with member transportation leadership after admission. Public Topgolf and course names are geographic references, not partnerships.

Household brief

How weekends work.

Most Saturdays carry a family-friendly activity or members’ play. Wives and older children get a short brief: faith first, discretion, and no hard sell. Then the room opens for real conversation. Guests come only by invitation, with Captain or board approval where applicable.

Exact venues and RSVP stay with members. Public Topgolf and course names are geographic references, not signed partnerships.

Membership

A family chapter with a high bar.

Admission is by application and personal review. The room is for men of standing who keep Christ central, honor marriage and household, and can keep a weekend cadence with their people.

Dues are confirmed privately after approval. Part of those dues supports exclusive transportation to Society events under Samy Soliman, Vice President of Transportation and Physical Security, and his team (including Ramy). There is no public price tag and no mass invite list. Legacy here means showing up for the next generation beside you, not collecting logos.
